365 Pet Insurance
At 365 Pet Insurance, our mission is to be an impartial knowledgebase on all things Pet Insurance and provide a marketplace for pet owners to purchase a pet insurance policy. Currently, only two percent of pet owners carry a pet insurance policy, and we seek to help pet owners understand the, at times, confusing landscape of pet insurance. We take a logical approach to policies, carriers and pet health in general, helping break down insurance jargon and allowing you to gain access to real customer insights and reviews so when you are picking a pet insurance policy, you can make the best decision.
Co-Founder, Licensed Insurance Producer
Sarah Gilbert founded 365 Pet Insurance in 2016 after the loss of her precious pup, Molly. While at the emergency animal hospital for incurable pancreatic cancer, Sarah first learned about pet insurance – but it was too late. After that, it became her mission to tell other pet parents about pet insurance before they need it, and 365 Pet Insurance was born. Now, Sarah is a licensed insurance producer in all 50 states and Washington D.C. For licenses, click here.

Our Review Process
Our reviews offer a unique look at all of the different pet insurance policies available to consumers in the United States. We look at 6 components of the policies: Coverage, Claims, Reimbursements, Limits, Deductibles, and a new category: Communication. For this data, we look at claims coverage data from the pet insurers themselves when available or provided, and we also look at consumer reviews on the BBB, Yelp, Google Reviews and others, and aggregate this information to inform our review. We also use publicly provided information from the pet insurance companies as to their policy coverage, as well as occasional compliance reviews from various insurers to ensure our reviews are accurate. We do not permit anyone to pay for a higher placement on our site. As licensed insurance brokers, we do receive commissions from the companies we are appointed with, but we hope you will use our reviews and comparison tools to make the best decision for you and your furry family.
